Fall 2005 Update! The final races for 2005 as competitive exhibition "Acts" have been completed with points awarded to count towards 2007. Act 9 was held in Trepani on the coast of Sicily, Italy. The 2006.race series, Acts 10, 11, and 12 will be as follows, exact locations to be announced. Act 10, 11 May to May 18; Act 11, 19 May to 21, May; and Act 12, 22 June to 3 July. Things will heat up considerably in 2006 as crews and boats will have the latest AC 5 specifications and some all new features. Standings so far are as follows in order ;Alinghi, BMW-Oracle Racing, Luna Rosa Challenge, Emirates Team New Zealand, K-Challenge, Victory Challenge, Desafio Espanol 2007, Team Shosholoza, United Internet of Germany, Mascalone Latino Capitalia, China Team, and +39 Challenge. Things shape up so far where upsets will occur in these pre-2007 races but a tier 1 group of the upper six will be tough to beat. Time, money, design concepts, crew training and helmsmanship will allow the cream to rise to the top! The best in the world will all be present in 2007,what a party and sailing extravagant sport exhibition it will be for participants, host Spain and city of Valencia and the world to watch. As crew and boat and personality details emerge, we will cover, the pace is quickening for all !!
